Florida is an ideal holiday destination for the whole family. Sunshine, beaches, world-class theme parks, American hospitality, and much more besides. And those lucky enough to be heading off to Orlando are sure to find themselves overwhelmed by the acres upon acres of fun theme parks that await them.

Hitting the Florida theme parks doesn’t come cheap however – especially if you’re in a large group or family – so make sure that you get it right with this helpful guide:

For Tots and Tinies
If you have under 8’s then your trip to the theme park capital of the world is likely to be all out Walt Disney World, Florida. The centre of the magic, aptly named the Magic Kingdom, is the best place to start with little ones. With classic Disney characters at every turn, mesmerising attractions and spectacular parades, this wonderland of gentle rides is every little person’s dream come true.

For Tweens

For Teens
Teens love a good waterpark, so take them to Wet N Wild for the day. Known as the world’s best waterpark, it’s a great place for them to meet new friends, scream themselves silly on the white knuckle water rides and look cool poolside.

For All Ages
If you have children of a mixed age range then Universal Studios Florida has something for everyone. Kids of all ages will love the Despicable Me, Men in Black, Shrek and Simpson’s rides.

Whatever the ages of your party, an amazing time can be had by all in Orlando – just choose your theme parks wisely, pick up family travel insurance at Insure and Away, and get, set, ride!
